Magnesium chloride is an important compound with various uses in the food industry, health, road maintenance, and industrial applications. Magnesium chloride is highly soluble in water. This makes it perfect for wastewater treatment, feed supplements for livestock, road stabilization, fireproofing agents, etc. We have two types of magnesium chloride— hydrated and anhydrous magnesium chloride.
Hydrated Magnesium chloride can be extracted from brine or seawater. It is normally produced in flake, pellet, and powder forms. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is the principal source of magnesium metal, which is produced on a large scale. Weifang Bell Chemical offers low moisture Magnesium Chloride Anhydrous with moisture less than 0.5%. Hydrated magnesium chloride is much cheaper than Anhydrous magnesium chloride.

The hydrated magnesium chloride can be extracted from brine or sea water. As the natural mineral bischofite it is extracted (by solution mining) out of ancient seabeds. Hydrated magnesium chloride is the form most readily available.
Magnesium chloride is an inorganic compound with the formula MgCl2 and its various hydrates. Anhydrous MgCl2 contains 25.5% elemental magnesium by mass. Anhydrous magnesium chloride is the principal precursor to magnesium metal.
Magnesium chloride pellet has a round surface with particle sizes of 2-5mm. It can be used as a desiccant and deicer.

(Liquid) Magnesium Chloride Solutions
Magnesium chloride solutions are usually mixed at ratios of 32% by volume. We manufacture two types of magnesium chloride solutions- High Purified Quality and Normal Purified Quality. High Purified Quality is a transparent liquid formulated for high-quality applications like cleaning agents and textile industry usage. Normal Purified quality Quality is a colorless or pale yellow liquid that is mainly applied in wastewater treatment, dust prevention, road gritting, and many other industrial uses.
(Solid) Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate Flake/ Powder/ Pellet
Solid Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate is the white solid form of magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2.6H2O) which contains MgCl2 around 46%. The primary application of magnesium chloride flakes is in the manufacture of sorel cement, also known as oxychloride cement. It can also be applied in road gritting and combating dust during road construction. That is due to its high hygroscopic nature. Magnesium chloride pellets are small white pellets that are transparent in nature. The pellets are appropriately designed for easier distribution during winter road maintenance.

Anhydrous magnesium chloride is the principal precursor to magnesium metal, which is produced on a large scale. We mainly manufacture 98% magnesium chloride anhydrous which is most commonly used.
